More details are beginning to emerge about Eva Longoria and Tony Parker’s surprise split and the alleged other woman.

The Gossip Wire was atwitter this Hump Day as Eva Longoria-Parker filed for divorce from husband Tony Parker, ending the couple’s three year marriage after a humiliating cheating scandal.

Although Eva Longoria recently released a statement in which she said that she and her husband Tony Parker would not be getting a divorce, she submitted the paperwork to dissolve their marriage the next day. According to the paperwork that was submitted, Longoria cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason behind their divorce, however many people are wondering if there could be something more to the divorce proceedings.

A recent headline came to light which claimed that Parker had been unfaithful to Longoria, and according to TMZ, the actress was “devastated” by the news that he was having an affair with Brent Barry’s wife Erin Barry Although Longoria’s rep issued a statement in which they denied that Parker was filing for a divorce the paperwork was submitted by Longoria a day later, and were filed and sealed by a family law judge at the Bexar County Courthouse in Texas.

The Desperate Housewives star filed divorce papers in Los Angeles Superior Court today – a day after her publicist denied reports that Tony had filed for divorce in Texas. Us Magazine reports that the split came after Eva, 35, discovered Tony, 28, was having an affair with Barry — a mutual friend of the couple — who he was allegedly texting “hundreds of times a month for almost a year.” Tony also reportedly cheated on Eva with yet another woman just a few years ago. He kept in touch with that lass via Facebook.

Longoria and Parker originally met in November of 2004, and were engaged to be married in November of 2006. They were married on July 6, 2007 in a small civil service, and then had another ceremony the next day at Chateau of Vaux le Vicomte, a castle from the 17th century that is on the outskirts of Paris.
