The man suspected in the murder of Jasmine Fiore, Ryan Jenkins, has been found dead.

Canadian authorities confirmed Sunday night that Jenkins, sought after for the brutal murder of his wife, bikini model Jasmine Fiore, was found dead at the Thunderbird Motel in Hope, British Columbia, near Vancouver.Hotel staff discovered his body, and according to reports he was found hanging in what appears to be a suicide.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police’s Federal Border Integrity Unit say it’s believed the 32-year-old, who is a native of Canada, took his own life. “We aren’t releasing that cause of death at this time,” said Sgt. Duncan Pound

Mr Jenkins, 32, a Canadian-born real estate developer and reality show contestant, was wanted in California on first-degree murder charges after the discovery of the mutilated body of his ex-wife Jasmine Fiore was found in a suitcase in Buena Park, about 20 miles southeast of Los Angeles, on August 14.

Jenkins were married earlier this year, but had their marriage annulled in May. Jenkins reported his wife missing shortly before her body was discovered. Jasmine Fiore had been strangled and her fingers and teeth were removed in an effort to make identifying her difficult. However, Fiore was identified using the serial numbers from her breast implants.

Jenkins was a finalist on the VH1 show, Megan Wants A Millionaire, which has since been yanked off the air.
