Former Nets forward and newly-acquired San Antonio Spur Richard Jefferson canceled his $2 million wedding over the weekend at the last minute, effectively leaving his fiance, former Nets dancer Kesha Ni’Cole Nichols, at the altar.Richard Jefferson’s Wedding to his fiance was called off for still unknown reasons.

Anyway, according to reports, some of Richard’s friends showed up at the Mandarin Oriental in Manhattan last Saturday only to find out that the $2 million wedding had been cancelled. Nichole however told her family and friends immediately after she was dumped to advise them the wedding was called off.

But Jefferson waited much longer, his friends told The Post.

“He called about two hours before the wedding. It was nuts,” said one Jefferson pal.

He never showed up at the hotel, but “all his boys were there,” the friend said. “He gave his best friend the Black Amex [credit card] for the night.”

Jefferson’s guests made good use of the credit card to party on their pal’s dime.

The former Nets dancer wants to keep the incident private and move forward…she started by checking into the hotel on what was to have been her wedding day and was upgraded to a 45th floor suite with views of Central Park.

Jefferson was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks last offseason by the Nets, the team with which he spent the first seven years of his career. In June, Jefferson was traded to the Spurs.
