Farrah Fawcett was laid to rest at a private funeral Tuesday at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in Los Angeles.

Around 200 friends, colleagues and family members, including Fawcett’s otherwise incarcerated son, Redmond, gathered Tuesday afternoon for a private funeral honoring the late actress. The cathedral has the capacity to seat 3,000, but the invite-only service was far more intimate.

First among the mourners to arrive were Ryan O’Neal and Alana Stewart, who were both with Fawcett at the hospital when she died.Both of them entered the church together, both wearing black.Ryan O’Neal was one of nine pallbearer who helped to carry the flower laden casket.

Charlie’s Angels costars, Kate Jackson, Jaclyn Smith and Cheryl Ladd (who replaced Fawcett on 70s show) also attended. Garry Shandling, model Cheryl Tiegs, novelist Jackie Collins, Joan Collins and Fawcett’s ex Lee Majors, with whom she reconnected with recently after two decades, were also there.

Redmond O’Neal was able to the attend the 4:00 p.m. service at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church after receiving a three hour pass from Judge Jane Godfrey.  He was dressed in a suit and wore dark sunglasses.

The 24-year-old is serving an 18-month sentence at a L.A. jail specializing in intensive drug treatment and was given three hours to attend his mom’s funeral. He was briefly allowed to leave a county lockup to visit Fawcett in April, and he is said to have spoken with her on the phone just minutes before she died last Thursday.

The funeral program featured a photo of Fawcett in a sequined dress. A James Joyce poem “At That Hour” was inscribed inside.

“Play on, invisible harps, unto Love,
Whose way in heaven is aglow
At that hour when soft lights come and go,
Soft sweet music in the air above
And in the earth below.”

After the funeral, guests were taken by van to a private reception at the Jonathan Club in Santa Monica.

Farewell, Farrah. You will never be forgotten.
